Online Poker Hand Ranks and Rules

A poker game uses a standard deck of 52 cards. Ace is the biggest card, then King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 (lowest). The four suits (spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds) are usually ranked equal. A poker hand consists of 5 cards.
Some poker game uses wild cards, which can be anything to make the highest hand. When playing at online poker rooms, you will not see the use of wild cards. Wild cards are usually used in Video Poker only.
