Online Texas Hold'em Poker Rules

Texas Hold'em or
Hold'em poker is the most popular poker game online and
offline. There are three basic hold'em game types:

| 1 | Limit Hold'em: There
is a specific betting limit for each round of the poker game. For example a $1/$2 game have a $1 blind bet and $1 call for the second round of betting and raise is also $1, and the subsequent round up to $2 bets. |
| 2 | Pot Limit Hold'em: Players can bet a maximum, equal to the total pot at the time of their bet. |
| 3 | No Limit Hold'em: Players can bet as much as they have on the table at the time of the bet. However, you can only buy in $25 for a No Limit $25 table, and $50 for $50 table, etc. |

How Texas Hold'em is played

| 1 |
The game starts when the two
players to the left of the dealer place a 'Small Blind' and 'Big
Blind' ("Blind", as for betting before seeing the
hand),which for a $1/$2 game would be $.50 and $1 respectively.

| 2 |
Once
the blind bets are down, two cards are dealt face down to each player who bets.
|
| 3 |
There is the first betting round.
|
| 4 |
Three shared cards are dealt face
up in the middle of the table in what is called 'The
Flop'
.

| 5 |
There
is the second betting round.
|
| 6 |
A fourth card is placed face up in the middle.
|
| 7 |
There is
a the third betting round.
|
| 8 |
The last card, or 'The
River'
card is placed face up in the middle of the table.
|
| 9 |
There is the final round of betting.
|
| 10 |
The player with the highest hand wins.
